Geist Ink and Dye Remover

Description:

Ink and marker remover for leather, PU and PVC – powerful and safe

Effectively removes dyes, ballpoint pen ink and marker marks from surfaces leather, imitation leather (PU) and PVC without damaging them. This powerful cleaner is formulated with plant-based ingredients and seaweed, completely free of harsh solvents.

Its advanced formula breaks down and lifts ink without rubbing, respecting the surface's original shine and finish. Ideal for restoring synthetic leather products, car upholstery, handbags, armchairs, or footwear, without the risk of swelling or discoloration.

Instructions:

Apply the remover directly to the pen marks or spread it with a cloth on dye-stained surfaces (car seats, couch seats, etc.), then let it lighten the color for at least 30 minutes, longer for older stains. Some heavy or older stains may need an overnight treatment. Many dyes visibly float to the surface of the remover liquid; others may need to be rubbed with the GEIST DYE ERASER, a Q-tip, or a cloth to lift them away from the grain. The Dye Eraser will absorb the dye as it is released. Wipe away the remover with a dry, absorbent cloth and repeat the treatment if necessary. 

When the pen or dye mark is no longer visible, clean the surface with GEIST Rapid Leather & Vinyl Cleaner or a damp cloth and let it dry.
Finally, protect the surface with GEIST Dye & Friction Blocker to prevent future discoloration and friction damage. 

Attention:

• Do not use on suede, nubuck, microfiber or absorbent surfaces such as aniline leather. 
• Always test on an unseen area before use.
• The effectiveness of the remover depends on how long it can stay on the pen mark or dye stain. More time is better. 
• Store out of reach of children.
• In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, contact a doctor.
