Geist PRO Leather Filler

A leather and vinyl filler intended for professionals to repair cracks, scratches, tears, holes, and scuff damage.

Geist. Leather Filler PRO - For Leather & Vinyl is perfect for repairing scuffs, cracked leather, rips, tears, and holes in leather car seats, furniture, couches, handbags, and leather jackets, etc. Couches tend to wear out over time and look worn. Scratches and cracks due to general wear and tear are a common problem and tend to detract from the appearance of a car interior or furniture set. Unlike Geist. Easy Filler, the Leather Filler PRO is designed with professional technicians in mind who can use the 'White' colored filler and dye as needed, depending on the color of the surface they are working on.

Instructions:

• Step 1For best results, prepare the surface first. Clean hand grease and dirt thoroughly with Geist Surface Prep, let it dry, and then test the surface adhesion to the damaged area with a simple tape test. If regular, low-tack masking tape doesn't stick to the surface, clean again until it does, then lightly sand the damaged surface in a circular motion using the Geist sanding pad. Remove any dust. This evens out any uneven areas and helps achieve a smooth surface.

• Step 2. Apply Filler PRO by pressing the tube's tip down onto the damaged area. Smooth the filler surface with a finger or flat tool and allow to dry slowly without heat. Be sure to apply the filler only to the damaged area. If any product gets on the surrounding areas, wipe them with the tip of a damp cloth or use your finger to remove excess before it dries. The filler shrinks as it dries and may require refilling. Repeat the process if necessary.

• Step 3If you need to level the filler, wet-sand the now-dry filler with Geist Dissolver, which is available in a felt-tip pen for easy application.

• Apply Geist Leather & Vinyl. Spray the cleaned and repaired leather surface with a spray gun, following the supplied instructions. Follow up by spraying Geist Top Coat with Crosslinker to provide durability.

• Additional protection is recommended in high-traffic areas, such as driveways or steering wheels. Geist Dye & Friction Blocker is an excellent additional shield against friction damage, making the repair more durable and long-lasting.
