Geist Low Temperature Activator

Description:

• LOW TEMPERATURE CURING: A non-toxic chemical activator that reduces the temperature required to cure GEIST vinyl and leather paste.
• FOR USE WITH: Geist. Leather and Vinyl Paste
• SPOT REPAIRS: Best suited for spot repairs such as key scratches, cigarette burns, scuffs, rips, and tears where the rest of the surface is intact and not in need of repair. Such damage generally requires the grain to create a nearly invisible repair.

For repairing temperature-sensitive synthetic surfaces such as Tesla seats, modern car dashboards, and interior trim. Applying a heated grain structure to a modern car interior. Surfaces can level the existing structure around the repair, causing further damage. This activator is used in production processes to reduce the temperature required to cure a vinyl/leather repair paste.  A non-toxic chemical activator that reduces the temperature required to cure GEIST Vinyl and Leather Paste. This makes it ideal for high-quality repairs to temperature-sensitive vinyl or synthetic leather.  (e.g., Tesla). The activator also thickens the repair paste, making it easier to use on holes or other damage that requires filling or shaping. The mixture is highly elastic after heat curing.

Instructions:

• Mix 1-2 drops of low-temperature activator into a pea-sized amount of leather and vinyl paste and stir well. The mixture will initially thin as you mix.

• Let it sit for 10 minutes or longer. The paste will thicken.

• Use the new mixing paste to fill the damaged area with a spatula. Press a grain structure of warm silicone onto Geist Leather and Vinyl Paste to cure it.

• The temperature required to cure the mixture can be found by testing before making the repair.

• The thickened paste/activator mixture can be used for up to 3 days. Contains: Non-toxic organic compound.

• Sensitive to moisture. Store dry. Keep away from children.
